Hey there readers of this blog. I've got to start publishing on this thing again. Between Facebook and real life I've not taken the time to keep this blog up to date. The thing is, I like going back through the old posts, remembering the last few years of my life. And now I have a blank space where the last couple of years have been. Time to get back on it again.
We're having some amazing weather these days. Sunny, dry days in the 70s and 80s. I love that. I'm a big fan of temperate weather. I don't care for the icy snowy days or the hot hot ones. Give me some nice weather for a nice long stretch and I'm a happy camper.
What's been going on around here... Last week we went on a field trip to the Indian Mission. We got to spend the day outside and enjoy some learning provided by the high school kids. This week we will create powerpoints to share what we learned. It's always a challenge to define the project. Is it about the Potowatomie Indians? Is it about the things that happened during the day? The kids took a lot of pictures, which will be helpful, I guess.
The little guy isn't so little anymore. Sigh. His best friend is 11 years old now. That means that our kid is more than halfway to being 11. This is rather disconcerting.
Eleven more days until I head to California with Bryan. He got me a rather cool birthday present this year. Blizzcon tickets. We'll be headed to Anaheim to hang out with other computer game nerds. I'm planning on taking in the sights and playing the newest Blizzard game, Diablo 3, if I can. I'dalso like to hear some of the news coming out of Blizzard and maybe see my cousin who lives in LA.
The husband got his first deer of the season yesterday. The man spends all year stalking deer on the cameras he has posted in the woods. More deer meat for us. :)
I'm going to try to keep this up and hopefully get some pictures up soon. Back later.
