Good morning. It's 88 degrees already and it's supposed to rain, keeping the temps at only 93. After the triple digits of yesterday it is a relief. Even better, tomorrow is supposed to be only 85. Of course it picks the week of VBS to rain...
M loves going to bible school. He wanted to know if we could invite his friend B to come with him and "share in the Lord's glory." Oh wow, that's deep. Is it enough for us to have a spiritual being for 1 week out of the year as long as we raise him as a good person the other 51 weeks?
Today is the quiet day of the week. I like to schedule those in to keep myself from getting too crazy. This morning I took out the trash and picked up my Disney Photopass CD from the office. We got some usable shots, including the only pictures with all nine of us in them.
Yes, I know. The lighting is cruddy and A is not really looking at the camera. Oh, and we got one of us doing the Tinkerbell in the hand thing.
Jill looks totally unimpressed with it, don't you think? LOL
The PhotoPass thing was a good idea in the end because we did not get a single picture of all of us besides this and I didn't take as many shots as I thought I would with my cameras. Between all of us, I think we brought 5 cameras and we hardly used them. We were just having such a great time being together that being behind the viewfinder just seemed to be more intrusive, at least it was for me.
I'm 500 pages into Breaking Dawn (the fourth Twilight book) and it's been an interesting read. Since it only has 750 pages, I'm quite confident that I'll have it finished before I go back to work on Friday.
In Worldcraft my hunter is up to level 27. Last night the three of us went questing to help DH level (his druid is at 13 now). I did get him killed once when he tried to take on a whole cave of level 17 bad guys. I'm good, but I'm not that good.
Tomorrow will be the busy day. I have to run up to the high school and get M registered for school and pay his fees. I will probably stop by my classroom and see if the new teacher has shown up yet and introduce myself.
After M is done with bible school we have to run up to the city for an allergy appointment. In order to get his asthma action plan done they want us to do a week of peak flow meter stats and of course we have no peak flow meter. We'll stop by the pharmacy to pick one up and go to the office to learn how to use it.
Thursday I'm not sure what's going on, but I may go in to work for an hour or so. Friday I have to spend the whole day at work. I'm really going to need a good pair of walking shoes. And some caffeine.
I've done such a good job of kicking the caffeine and soda habit. I took my sister's advice and started drinking propel peach water. I bought a 24 oz plasitic reusable water (more eco friendly) and I add 16 ounces of propel to 8 ounces of water. Yummy and better for me than soda. But it doesn't have caffeine and I'm like a junky getting ready to mainline.
DH started his new work schedule yesterday. He got home around 6, which is probably going to be the usual time. Ugh. But he will be home of Fridays, so hopefully it will be worth it in the end.
I'm going to get some dishes done and clean the kitchen before M comes home. He's so proud of himself because he doesn't have to wait for anyone to pick him up from bible school. He just pointed at our house and ran home. Maybe tomorrow I'll let him walk over there too. :-)
Have a wonderful Tuesday.
I love the photos from Disneyland. I know what you mean about being behind the camera. We hardly found time to take pics at Sea World either. So we ended up paying an outrageous amount of money for that one pic of the two of us at the gate. But we had a great time and that is all that counts. Looks like you guys did too. Glad you liked the propel water idea. It helped me cut down on soda too. But I still drink one a day. I just go for the caffeine free pepsi or coke. It still has the sugar and calories tho. But atleast I cut down on caffeine. And I cut down on the amount. I went from 3 a day to 1 a day. Some is better than none. Have a great week!
